I had a friend once write a poem entitled “Love defined”. I know, defining love is a lofty pursuit. I’d say a challenge best left to the poets, writers, painters…and dreamers of the world. But the expression of love, as stated above, is romance. The thing that is more than the some of it’s parts. It’s the evidence and expression of love that drives me to photograph. So hearing that Liz and Joe were dreaming about their day with the word “romantic” in mind gave me so much fuel! Their dreams were realized with the service of Jesse from Bliss events in Chicago, who put together the most romantic wedding I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. They created a literal dream-scape inside of Morgan Manufacturing. Everything was candlelit from the ceremony to the reception and it was so stunning. But what a really love about this, is how much it fit Joe and Liz’s personality. They have such a strong and confident love and this was expressed in their day through and through. So Cheers to you Joe and Liz for dreaming and allowing me to come next to you and create! And a big thanks to Pavel Adeamik for lending your amazing skills on the day, such a pleasure creating and chatting with you man!
