Mexico Destination Wedding | Hacienda Tres Rios

About a month ago I was privileged to photograph Jamila and Mikal Davis at their wedding down in Riviera Maya Mexico. The Resort Hacienda Tres Rios did a phenomenal job hosting their party and feeding me whenever I was hungry. This was my first time to Mexico and it was awesome! Riviera Maya is about 45 minutes south of Cancun and is a perfect spot for a destination wedding. This was an emotional wedding for me, all in attendance were so genuine, fun, and full of love! I might of teared up a little bit during the editing…. yeah I know that is crazy. Mikal introduced a relational concept that I hope to keep near me forever. It was the idea of “loving hard” which means …well it is pretty self explanatory. They were so intentional with their love for each other that it melted my heart through the lens. Seriously their love is for story books and everybody likes a story with pictures! Congrats Jamila and Mikal!

welovepictures - AMAZING BROTHER, AMAZING! I had my favorite right in the middle with the killer garter toss shot but then they just kept coming and coming and coming! The color shot of then couple on the jetty with the epic clouds is spectacular!
